I’m an Industrial designer at heart, who happened to trade in the third dimension of depth, for the fourth dimension of time.

Two young men in jackets, one smiling at the camera with a camera hanging around his neck, and the other looking down at a camera he is holding, are standing outdoors in a park or forest area with trees in the background.

I’ve sort-of lived in the space between for my entire career, from designing smart hardware, to designing software to manage hardware. Transitioning from designing 3D products to managing enterprise software.

The role of product, be it design or management, is to influence the business to put compelling experiences customers want to pay for in the hands of our users, by any and all means.

Solving the right problem
in the right place is the hard part.

UX starts at the fundamentals and builds up through the products entire DNA. I’ve already spent too long trying to use UI and flows to try to salvage a positive user experience from a convoluted concept model, poor IA or simply a product solving a problem nobody has.

↓ Discovery

It’s the experience users get that matters, not our intent.

The role of product is to make the days and nights people are using our products better through any and all means. Any design with good intentions and a poor follow through is meaningless and anything we can do to positively influence the experience is worth it’s weight in gold.

↓ Delivery

We’re all just people, and we’re in this together.

We are all just people who want to build a kick-ass product first and foremost. We might be good at different things, but the product’s experience belong to all of us. As such, our practices, and our empathy for one another reflects in what we deliver.

Their attention to detail and commitment to quality truly stood out. We’ve already recommended them to others.
